Indigenous Peoples Global United (IPGU)

Indigenous Peoples Global United (IPGU) is an international platform that brings together Indigenous peoples and ethnic communities from around the world to promote their common interests, defend their rights, and strengthen their presence in international affairs.

IPGU was established to support Indigenous peoples in preserving their unique identities, cultures, languages, traditions, and historical heritage. We believe that every people has the right to maintain its distinct character, protect its ancestral homeland, and determine its own future in accordance with internationally recognized human rights standards.

Our Mission
To unite Indigenous peoples globally, amplify their voices on the international stage, and advance the protection of their cultural, political, social, economic, and environmental rights.

Our Goals
• Promote cooperation among Indigenous peoples worldwide.
• Protect and preserve Indigenous cultures, languages, and traditions.
• Advocate for the recognition of Indigenous rights and identities.
• Support the protection of ancestral lands and natural resources.
• Develop legal, educational, and cultural initiatives that strengthen Indigenous communities.
• Increase global awareness of Indigenous peoples and their contributions to humanity.

Our Principles
IPGU places individuals and communities at the center of its work. We are guided by universal human rights, respect for cultural and biological diversity, and the belief that Indigenous peoples must be active participants in decisions affecting their future.

Through international cooperation, advocacy, research, education, and community development, IPGU works to create a future where Indigenous peoples can preserve their heritage, exercise their rights, and pass their identity and traditions to future generations with dignity and security.
